Hello there! Excited for High Adrenaline? I can feel it coursing through my veins– and Triple Crown is so close I can taste it! 🏇 _{(Don’t mind me reusing much of my letters from FFFX/FIAB…)} My AO3 is roughmagic.

💙 Arcane - Viktor, Viktor/Jayce

Specifically, I want Viktor to suffer the most intense unrequited love angst known to man, absolutely in love with Jayce Talis from the jump and tortured by it. I need him pining, I need him yearning, I need him yearning and pining. Viktor Arcane was, to me, born to be whumped into a fine paste and added to dishes as an aromatic.

Take this prompt wherever you’re most interested: canon compliant or AU, romantic comedy of errors or tragic love story, any flavor of Viktor being in love and it being perceived as one-sided. Here’s some stuff that always comes up for me when I think about this prompt:

• Exploration of homophobia within the world of Arcane– is it accepted but not the norm? Is it “just a phase”? How does it differ between Piltover and the Undercity? Is it 100% illegal and grounds for exile, but the upper class still privately indulge in dalliances? No wrong answers here, if it’s not something you want to touch on, I wouldn’t be disappointed. I always love worldbuilding and I love it as another way to potentially inflict psychic damage on Viktor, which is my priority at all times.


• Explorations of Viktor as a character– I love character studies, would love to see this character studied like a bug. Feel free to use him as a starting point for worldbuilding or explorations for more of Piltover/the Undercity like mentioned in the previous bullet point: how does society make him feel about being disabled? What are the politics involved in the Academy and Piltover’s identity being so linked to science? What’s it like being from the Undercity and now living in Piltover?


• How does Viktor cope with his feelings for Jayce? Does he seek out other lovers– anyone will do as long as they have a strong jaw and don’t mind fucking with the lights off? Does he craft elaborate fantasies and live in them during his off hours? Does he find healthy outlets… or not? (I would love to see him be self-destructive around sex, seeking it out in dangerous situations or going the other direction and forcing himself to be celibate… totally happy to see him get in over his head and nonconned by random/s.)


• Who is Mel, to him? Is she a friend who also happens to be on the Council, or a Council member who wants to be friends? Is she a figure of envy or jealousy, and how does that influence or interfere with his Hextech work? Does she know how he feels about Jayce? I’m not opposed to her also being involved in a Viktor/Jayce endgame if that’s where you want to go, but please do not relegate her to their therapist or Best Gal Pal That Gives Sage Advice.


• Does Jayce know? Jaybe… Jaybe not. I love any angle here, I love “completely oblivious and painfully heterosexual” Jayce, I love “closeted bisexual and absolutely not ready to come out, least of all if it would threaten his closest friendship” Jayce, I even love “doesn’t know how to react and defaults to violent rejection” Jayce. I’m not actually a fan of Jayce, so you cannot make him too unlikable here if the story calls for it. (Or, if you like Jayce, I always enjoy having my opinion changed or challenged by a fic!)


• If you’re feeling darksided, feel free to get nasty with this and let Viktor be a creep– stalking, unhealthy obsession… I’m not a huge fan of yandere stuff where the stalker is obvious about it/controls their object of affection, so if you go this route I’d ask that Jayce not actually come to physical harm or intense psychological upset. Sort of a “yeah, that’s my buddy Viktor, he’s a bit weird” and he’s only seeing the tip of the iceberg, if that makes sense.


• Do I have any strong preferences on how this ends, in terms of them getting together? No! If you think they should get together, get them together! If you think Viktor should burn in the flames of unrequited love forever, do that! If you think they should hook up and it means everything to Viktor and not much to Jayce, go that route! No wrong answers here– I do love happy endings, but that is absolutely not a requirement for this prompt.

❤️ Devil May Cry - Kyrie/Nero/Nico

What can I say? I love a trio of friends that is completely in love and then also gets together. My initial thought for this prompt was sort of pre-DMCV-canon, Nico is boarding with Nero and Kyrie and they’re all clearly vibing, but how do they get from that to being in an official power throuple? I’d love to see Kyrie being an active mover and shaker in this situation, she strikes me as the most in-tune with her feelings and maybe the best equipped to move things from pining to serious. Maybe part of it is the three of them working together to develop Nero’s arm prosthesis, or helping him with some physical therapy post arm-rip? (I’m not a stickler for the canon timeline.) Whatever happens, let Kyrie shine! I’d love to see an exploration of how it feels to be in love with two people at the same time, how seeing your partner in love can inspire that in yourself, and a bunch of silly romcom hijinks. Feel free to bring in the orphanage kids if you’d like, as I imagine it’d probably be pretty central in their lives, but I do admit I’m mostly interested in the ship dynamics here rather than kidfic.

💚 Legend of Zelda - Ganondorf/Link/Zelda, Link/Zelda

I apply this poem indiscriminately to all my fandoms and passions, but Link/Zelda (and by extension, Ganon) is a certified 25 Lives banger. The cycles, the potential for change, the idea of destiny, the romance… the tragedy. >:) The hope!

BotW/TotK are the two Zelda games I’ve spent the most time with and are the world(s) that I love the most from the canon. The gorgeous, expansive worlds, the nods to lore and the sense of history and ruin that’s conveyed by the landscape… I love it. And then you add in Link and Zelda, bound by fate and separated by magic, but always trying to get back to each other?! I truly go crazy.

Things I think could be fun to explore with these two/three:

• Cast them in a retelling of a movie or story– personally I’ve always thought that a version of Princess Mononoke featuring these three would be incredible. Ganon as a figure of industrial progress… Link’s the obvious choice for being a stoic prince from a faraway clan (Zelda raised by dragons?!) but I LOVE switching up roles and casting Zelda as a protagonist. What about other Ghibli movies? What about your favorite fairytale? If it’s something I’ve never heard of, I don’t care, I’m excited for you to tell me the story and I’ll figure it out as I go. I LOVE reinterpretations, and the series as a whole has always been so cool and flexible about doing exactly that.


• Role reversal: Ganon as the main protagonist, struggling with the idea of Power being a corrupting aspect of the Triforce and fighting against his perceived fate, while also trying to protect his people from the hot evil blonds holding the other two parts of his destiny. Link as a horrifying silent slayer, Zelda as a cunning witch?


• Or, the classic: Zelda’s the hero now, Link trapped in a castle or a memory or another time or form– can she save him and her kingdom?


• Modern AU: usually a DNW for me, I’m explicitly requesting it here: put these three in modern day and see what happens. (The exception: please no school or college settings.) Is Ganon a CEO? Does he run a local gym like the fucking navy and Link’s had just about enough of being accused of dropping weights? (Beleaguered Zelda, fighting constantly to get her boxing classes a time slot?) What if Link and Zelda are getting married and Ganon is their wedding planner? What if they’re all three competing against each other in a local county fair for who can grow the biggest courgettes? You cannot get too niche or esoteric about this one and I am begging you to go nuts.


• Totally fine with any configuration of relationships here, romantic or otherwise. I love the three of them sort of fated to be in love and kept apart by tragic circumstance, I love the three of them NOT being in love but still being important to each other, whatever suits the story.

💛 [SAFETY] Original Work - Pilot/Mech

I have been gripped by pilot/mech lately and I do not want to leave its mechanical grasp. The things I love about this ship are all the possibilities– for worldbuilding around the pair, for power play/relationship dynamics, for adventure or even tragedy. I love it all! If it’s helpful, here’s some ideas/vibes:

• Neon Genesis Evangelion’s biomechanical weirdness and horror: I love when mechs aren’t just 100% robot and have flesh deep down, love when they have a deep psychic connection to their pilots, whether the pilots like it or not. I loveeee the visceral combat, the potential for body horror if the pilot is synced to the mech and feels pain during battle…


• What about a mech of an unusual size? What about something that’s more like a suit than a vehicle, like the Iron Man suits, or Anthem? What’s it like when your mech capable of being independent, but submits to being your second skin?


• Conversely, what about an enormous mech that isn’t the standard kind of “human shaped object used for fighting”? Something like a huge walking city construct instead– what does it mean to be in love with something that size? What kind of relationship does it have to its pilot?


• How does one fuck a mech? 🤔 Is the pilot jacked directly into them, sharing a consciousness? Do the seats vibrate? Robotentacles coming out of the dashboard? Is there nothing immediately available for penetrative sex and the two of them have to find other ways to bone? Obviously sex isn’t a requirement for this fic– if it’s not the kind of relationship they have, that’s totally fine. But if you’re interested in that, absolutely feel free to get weird with it.


• I love when mechs have a distinctive voice and/or personality. Maybe this puts them in conflict with their pilot, but they’re stuck together due to resource scarcity or some kind of initial imprint? Maybe they’re both the only two survivors of a battle and have to work together? There’s something deeply interesting about a mech that has the capacity to be independent or not actually need a pilot but still being forced to accept one– or maybe it genuinely wants one, through personal quirk or programming imperative.


• The horrors of war: what about a mech that delights in the perceived beauty and awe of war and a pilot growing increasingly horrified by it? What about a pilot and mech who are both sick of it and want to run away?


• I love scifi technobabble, I love science treated as arcane in a society that no longer remembers science as science but instead sees it as divine, I love hard scifi that’s unforgiving. I love space, I love a story localized to a single planet either alien or Earth. I love lamp.

💛 [SAFETY] Original Work - Artist/Model

Definitely a “follow your passion” prompt– I’m interested in any artistic medium or time period, and I encourage you to get crazy with it. Any gender identities/sexualities for both characters are welcome.

• What kind of artist are they? A traditional marble sculptor? Oil painter? Carbon nanofiber? Glassblower? Vtuber model artist? No wrong answers here, and feel free to get niche or bizarre. If you want to make up some kind of art that doesn’t currently exist, or a type of art that doesn’t traditionally use models, I’m all about it. I love when a story gets detailed about processes and how things work or how characters think through creative problems.


• What time period/setting? Far-future space station where being an artistic is either foolish because it doesn’t contribute to the station, or a sign of privilege because you can afford to do it? Ancient Rome? The Renaissance? Generic medieval fantasy swords and sorcery world? I’m lifting my DNW for modern AUs here– I’d request no high school settings, but college is fine. (Graduate school would be delicious, I love grown adults trying to balance jobs and schooling AND that schooling is a creative endeavor. Brutal <3 )


• What’s their dynamic like? I LOVE a stormy/competitive/blackrom relationship here, just as much as I love the classic “ah, I’m in love with my model and they don’t know, all I can do is express it in my art” pining. Or maybe there’s mutual attraction there, and the story is a long getting together? Maybe they’re only working together for one project, so they just have this limited time together? Or have they been working together for years, and they don’t want to risk a relationship endangering their work?


• Some fun questions that arise: why does the model agree to do this for the artist? How does the power dynamic between the two shift over time? Does the model like the work that the artist creates?

💙 Jujutsu Kaisen

Gojo Satoru/Nanami Kento

Truly these two drive me crazy, I love to see them do basically anything. I love the dynamic of stoic Nanami and tryhard jokester Gojo who isn’t fooling him, love to see both men’s defenses being slowly lowered by the other, surprising each other… An AU I dream about seeing one day is an idol AU where Gojo is the super-talented and nigh-uncontrollable idol and Nanami is his put-upon manager, and specifically I think a lot of the social media opt-ins could shine here. Chatfic, social media, emails, fan theories, direct to fan app messages, in-universe rpf shipping with those two (and other JJK characters slotted into similar roles?) would be incredible. But truly, can’t stress enough, I just love these two together and would enjoy a totally canon compliant fic where they pine forever or maybe have a passionate but ill-advised one night stand. I love it all!

Getou Suguru/Gojo Satoru/Ieiri Shoko

These three are the power throuple we should’ve had and rarely get: I would love to see the three of them treated as a triumvirate of the most powerful and valuable sorcerers of their generation. AND they’re in love. Are they totally in sync or messy and codependent? Did Getou defect and leave Gojo and Shoko to pick up the pieces, or is it an alternate universe where the three of them are united against the threat of Sukuna and Kenjaku and the Disaster Curses? They’re all such fun personalities, I love to see them interacting and playing off of each other, complimenting each others’ strengths and weaknesses. (In particular I love to see Shoko getting her due!)

Gojo Satoru/Sukuna | Ryoumen Sukuna

I’m so into these two as fated/doomed lovers, or more practically, each other being the only one who can understand them. Love to see their contrasts, their similarities, would love to see Gojo get absolutely folded (sexually? you decide) or Sukuna barely tamed. There’s something so engaging to me about the idea that Gojo’s fight with Sukuna was an attempt to communicate with him in a way that they can understand, and that being forced to go all-out against each other is a kind of relationship. If you want to go an AU route where Sukuna goes through some villain decay and ends up in kind of a “horrible member of the main cast” Vegeta-like role, that’s totally fine with me, but I’d be just as happy to see him retain his original role as main villain of the series.

Worldbuilding

One of my favorite parts of the whole G.U. game series was the in-game forum posts: you could check up on threads that would progress as the game did, add your own posts, glean usable information— LOVED the fanart subforum too. I love the forum culture fostered there and basically just want more of that, more of in-universe stuff centered around the culture that springs up around The World. On the other end of the spectrum: always intrigued by the development of The World and what kind of a reaction there is from the academic world to a phenomenon like it. Theories, studies, maybe a survey of blog posts, etc. would be really fascinating. OCs and main characters are loved here alike, I like the whole cast of the G.U. games. (Atoli’s a favorite but genuinely, I love the whole bunch.)

GOG-AGOG

I would loooOOooove to see more of our pal, Gog-Agog! Truly whatever medium strikes your fancy, I would be down to see. I just adore her so much, I think she’s a fabulous character with an impeccable design, and recent chapters have done a lot to flesh her out. I’d love a fanmix or fan soundtrack for her in particular, I feel like her range of absurdity and grandiosity would produce something incredible. For some of the in-universe tags, would love to see some of the funky/surreal media presence she has. Whatever strikes your fancy medium-wise, lean into the weird, the goofy, the threatening, the colorful clown and deeply gross bugness that we all love about her. The Gog of it all! 💚

❤️ Chainsaw Man

Worldbuilding

I’m super interested in the world of Chainsaw Man and would love to see explorations of it. Academic or newspaper articles about the Gun Devil incident, people complaining about minor devils on social media, conspiracy theories on forums surrounding the Public Safety Division, myths and office memos about Hell, explorations of the alternate history that the world’s taken… I’m also very interested in the concept that the Chainsaw Devil has eaten devils springing from terrible and fear-inspiring events in human history and how people might slowly uncover the existence of those events after having the cultural memory erased. Like, what would the field notes of the team who discovered Pompeii’s remains in the 80s be like? (In canon, examples given of things that the Chainsaw Devil’s eaten and that people have forgotten are things like the AIDS crisis and the Holocaust, but my preference is for things farther back in human history, like the eruption of Mount Vesuvius or Krakatoa, or the existence of dinosaurs-- so not to focus on any kind of tragedy within living memory.) Depending on what thing you’d like to focus on, feel free to adjust the tone of the work to be goofier— absolutely love the idea of people forgetting about vampires because Denji ate the Vampire Devil and the online forum who uncovers this lost legacy!

Denji/Hayakawa Aki/Power

Really just looking for some fix-it, domestic bliss, “getting to be young people” post-canon type stuff with these three: they’re alive, they’re sharing the apartment, they’re maaaaybe in love? Either way, they definitely have a groupchat and Power’s literacy is only getting more strongest. I’d love to see chat fic, journal entries they’re keeping and how different they are from each other, could be slice of life or maybe getting together. Essentially some warm and fuzzy “yeah I like canon but I need to see these three survive and be happy” type stuff. And I’m always delighted to see Meowy and/or Pochita! :D

Evangelion Unit Maintenance Staff

Thank you to whoever prompted this tag, I was IMMEDIATELY enchanted by it. I would kill to see the (90’s analog version of?) Slack workspace of the Evangelion Unit Maintenance Staff. Basically everything interests me about this unseen supportive layer— the SOPs, the office memos, the email/fax chains, blueprints, requisition forms, anything! Original and canon characters both welcome, and tonally I’m down for either apocalyptic military drama/tragedy or “filler episode” goofiness. (Or, as NGE often is, a mix of the two.) The contrast of the surreal/mundane is key here: every day you have to wake up and go to work, but work is repairing the ankle joint of a huge mech that grows skin if the teenager piloting it freaks his little gourd.

IT Guy & Sentient Printers He Cares For

Spin me a tale of this modern day shepherd! My first thought is a world where this is just sort of mundane thing (maybe other appliances are sentient, maybe it’s literally just printers and nobody knows why) or perhaps it’s the office’s worst kept secret, the hows don’t matter so much to me as the potential for comedy. Some alternative mediums I think would be super fun to see here include stuff like Slack messages, office memos, internal FAQ/troubleshooting documents or knowledge base guides, that kind of thing. I would request that none of the printers are damaged beyond repair or scrapped, and if any of them are evil that they suffer villain decay or go through a redemption arc.
