FFFX 2024-2025 Request Letter

Hi author! This is my first FFFX, and I couldn’t be more jazzed. <3

In the mushi-ken of fujoshi designations, I’m happily a turtle: I’ll try anything! Anything I deeply wouldn’t want to see will be in my blanket DNWs, but otherwise even if I’m not personally into something, if it’s written with a freak’s passion I’ll always respect and enjoy that. My wish is for you to have fun writing first and foremost!

I’m totally fine with most major archive warnings appearing in fic: graphic violence, character death, and rape/noncon being the big ones. (Underage by request only.)

🔹Jujutsu Kaisen

Ieiri Shoko character study

We all know Gojo and Geto are The Strongest, but Shoko exists as a background pillar of Jujutsu High, and I’d love to see more of that explored. What does it mean to be so valuable you aren’t sent out on missions? Isn’t she also a rare talent? How does it feel to see the two boys you’re contemporaries with (in love with? Or close friends with? Totally fine with background ships, SatoSuguShoko in any configuration, or solo Shoko) constantly compete and grow and outpace everyone around them, while not being able to even try yourself? Did she ever want to be anything other than a healer? I know Shoko is weird and messy and complex underneath her nonchalance. Let her be a bit of a freak, an eccentric genius just like Gojo and Geto. Fix-it, canon divergent, canon compliant-- literally whatever sounds most interesting to you, as long as Shoko is taking center stage!

SatoSugu Fix-It Fic

I love doomed yaoi as much as the next guy, but I do long in my heart of hearts to see these two get a different outcome post-Star Plasma Vessel Incident. I’d be really interested to see what Gojo (or Shoko, or Nanami, or heck, even Yaga) could do to redirect Suguru away from the conclusion of killing his parents and deciding the only way forward is, um, genocide. Is it as simple as picking up on his distress and trying to connect more? Is it sort of fated that he’ll leave, but maybe there’s a third path he can take between “staying a normal jujutsu sorcerer” and “deciding all humans need to die”? I think it’s important to me that his grievances with the way things are aren’t dismissed or steamrolled or ignored: the culture of abject sacrifice among jujutsu sorcerers is pretty fucked up, and explorations of that are really interesting. How could it change within his lifetime? How would his relationship with Gojo change or maybe effect the world around them? My preference for happy/hopeful endings here is on par with feeling like the best we could hope for would be bittersweet, but I leave that in your hands. <3

Nanami/Gojo Idol AU

So I love these two in any situation, including canon, literally anything. But I was thinking, with my little wrinkly brain, what about an AU? What about an idol!Gojo/manager!Nanami AU, where longsuffering Nanami has to manage unruly superstar Gojo? I got caught up watching the latest Stray Kids comeback and whew, the outfits? The choreo? CRAZY. Would LOVE to see Gojo acting out/misbehaving for Nanami’s attention, meanwhile Nanami thinks he’s just being a diva. My preference is always going to be for bratty hog bottom Gojo and Nanami topping/taming the hell out of him, but if you want to switch things up I’m totally down to clown. I love fake tweets, chatfic, social media interludes etc– I know Gojo would be a menace on direct-to-fan social media platforms. Feel free to expand this to other characters from JJK as supporting cast, ex. Yuuji/Megumi/Nobara being a group, Higuruma having Kashimo and/or Hakari on a child leash and commiserating with Nanami, etc.

🔹Blade Runner

Worldbuilding/More cake!

Super open-ended here, I just love the world the films (both the OG and 2049) create and would love to see more of it: a continuation of 2049? Canon divergence? OCs? Tales of other blade runners? What does it look like to retire in that field, if anyone ever does? Feel free to create/feature/center your own OC(s) either in an original plot or maybe an offshoot of something from canon– I’d never say no to a story about someone getting hunted by Deckard or K and how genuinely frightening it’d be. Maybe you want to take it off the grimy wet neon streets and into the sterile corporate ziggurats? Feel free to get into all the weird and wild territory of replicant R&D if that’s calling your name. Worldbuilding and scene-setting are the things I’d love the most here, whatever direction you decide to take it. And of course... please feel free to get sexually nasty with it. :)

🔹Devil May Cry

Nico/Kyrie/Nero: Getting Together

What can I say? I love a trio of friends that is completely in love and then also gets together. My initial thought for this prompt was sort of pre-DMCV-canon, Nico is boarding with Nero and Kyrie and they’re all clearly vibing, but how do they get from that to being in an official power throuple? I’d love to see Kyrie being an active mover and shaker in this situation, she strikes me as the most in-tune with her feelings and maybe the best equipped to move things from pining to serious. Maybe part of it is the three of them working together to develop Nero’s arm prosthesis, or helping him with some physical therapy post arm-rip? (I’m not a stickler for the canon timeline.) Whatever happens, let Kyrie shine! I’d love to see an exploration of how it feels to be in love with two people at the same time, how seeing your partner in love can inspire that in yourself, and a bunch of silly romcom hijinks. Feel free to bring in the orphanage kids if you’d like, as I imagine it’d probably be pretty central in their lives, but I do admit I’m mostly interested in the ship dynamics here rather than kidfic.

🔹Star Wars: Republic Commando

Darman/Etain Fix-It Fic

Just what it says on the tin: I’d love to see you avert Etain’s fate in canon and make sure these two get a happily ever after. Maybe they do make it home to Kyrimorut and get to be a part of a big family right away? Maybe in the chaos of Order 66 they’re separated from the clan at large and have to make do on their own with baby Kad while on the run? Feel free to involve the rest of Clan Skirata/RepComm cast as much or as little as you’d like, my main wish is to see these two getting to be together after everything and going through the epic highs and lows of first-time parenting. Let’s give them the time and space to finally be in love and be a family. <3 Bonus points if they get to celebrate Life Day together and do some cheesy holiday stuff!
